BRIDGING GAPS.
THE MAIN THING WE AIMED TO SET OUT TO DO THROUGH NOMADIC REDEMPTION WAS TO ESTABLISH A SENSE OF COMMUNITY. AS PHOTOGRAPHERS AND CREATIVES, WE THRIVE OFF NATURAL BEUATY AND STORIES THAT CAN INSPIRE US TO DREAM BIG. WE STRIVE FOR ADVENTURE, BUT ADVENTURING WITH A PURPOSE. THIS IS WHY WE CREATED BRIDGING GAPS.
WE Choose to see the world in its truest form. FULLY immerse ourselves IN the cultureS, build close relationships with the people and always give back to the communityS WE TRAVEL THROUGH.
WE HAVE chosen to travel different.
BRIDGING GAPS IS A COMMUNITY WHERE WE CAN SHARE THE INSPIRING STORIES FROM THOSE WE ARE BLESSED TO MEET IN OUR WANDERING LIFE. WE ARE BEING A VOICE FOR THEM BY SHARING THEIR experiences OF LOVE, LOSS, HOPE, DREAMS AND MORE.
welcome to our community. here are the members so far who have chosen to travel different and be apart of bridging gaps. read the inspiring stories of those they have met along their wandering life, as well as their own stories of their travels. IF YOU WISH TO BE APART OF OUR COMMUNITY, PLEASE SEND US A MESSAGE.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND THE OVERWHELMING LOVE THAT GODS PLACED WITHIN ME ARE THE SKILLS HE'S GIVEN ME TO SHARE HIS TRUTH THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. I PLAN TO ENGAGE SO MUCH WITH THE PEOPLE I MEET ALONG THIS JOURNEY AND WALK IN THEIR FOOTPRINTS SO THAT I CAN WHOLEHEARTEDLY EMBRACE THEIR LIVES AND TELL THEIR INSPIRING STORIES TO THE NATIONS.

I am from Scotland and am of mixed ethnic background. I am interested in people and telling stories. I believe that all people are worthy of dignity and deserve to be heard. I hope to be able to participate in that process
In the years before taking up my studies in Social Anthropology, I have spent time in Mexico, Nepal and the Netherlands.

Traveling and learning about new cultures and perspectives is my passion, lifestyle and what gives me purpose. It's where my GPS is programmed to go.I see myself as a middle-woman; a cultural translator; an intermediary: between cultures, people, words, ideas and images. Adapting a concept from one culture to another; translating imagination into reality; taking words and turning it into a visual: those are the streets I take.
"LITTLE BABY MONK".
I met a 7 year old boy who was full of wonder and dreams. He lived in the temple with other boys dedicating their lives to become monks.

NATALIA
The golden light was just disappearing on the horizon- the view of Edinburgh city made magical in the last rays of the day. Natalia sat on a bench watching the sunset. As I asked if I could take her portrait, I noticed immediately the camera in her hand. She is studying Law at LSE in London, but her passion is film photography. Natalia is from Greece and most of her pictures are of her homeland and its beautiful colours- turquoise, yellow, pinks and greens. She told me that she had “picked an easy path” choosing to study law, but hoped that one day she could study art. Visiting her boyfriend for the weekend she had wandered the city of Edinburgh taking pictures and ending up with the crowds by the monument looking over the city, a full film roll in her camera.

DORCHE.
Dorche is a homestay host in the remote village of Ghyangphedi, Nepal. He is a humble, kind-hearted, service-oriented family man. On the surface, the story of meeting his wife seemed like a simple small-village love story, but their “love marriage” is actually one that has gone against all odds.

JR.
More often than not, we turn a blind eye to the homeless people we pass by on the streets of San Diego; jaded by the blatant crisis on our doorsteps. We assume their lives are transient; impermanent. The ironic reality is that their lives on the streets are more stationary than they are fleeting. They are just as human as you and I, and all have a story deserved to be heard. JR had a kidney transplant days after this photo was taken. hE WAS SCARED TO GO UNDER ANESTHESIA
