It has been a long, tiring, frustrating year so far. A lot of our plans have been changed since Covid 19, just like everyone else we know. The last time we left our little island with the waggon, was just over a year ago for our road trip down south to Faro, Portugal. WE have felt so desperate to roam and to spread our legs. We've also felt so deprived of adventuring which is what we both really love so much!
Ever since lockdown started we have been counting down the days before we could take the first ferry to France to start out next adventure. there has been a lot of changes in our little vw van since our last road trip, and we've been 100% sure to give her extra LOVE AND ATTENTION.
AS WELL AS FOCUSING ON THE MECHANICAL SIDE, WE HAVE ALSO SPENT A LOT OF OUR LOCKDOWN TIME CLEARING HER OUT AND RE-DOING THE INTERIOR FROM SCRATCH. sHE SURE IS BECOMING A BEAUTY. we even gave her exterior a quick paint job.
van life is honestly not all fun and games. there were days where we felt like we were completely wasting our time, and both wanted to just drop everything and Give up there and then. we came so close to it at times, but we can both fully say that it was the project of doing our van up that provided us with just enough adventure to survive this difficult time. everyone really needs a waggon in their life!
after a long time, the wait is finally coming to an end as we have booked our ticket out of here for the 30th OF AUGUST. iTS NOT GOING TO BE A LONG TRIP, BUT ITS GOING TO BE A BUSY ONE AS WE HAVE A LOT PLANNED AND A LOT TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS.
